I was born into the world of dogs. Some would say I was raised like one, or chose to be. My very first title on a dog was a WC (Working Certificate) with the bestest, sweetest, most incredible Golden Retriever. Ever. Miss Abby. Abby raised me as her own and was the most patient loving animal. She is who I was able to start my journey with and I am so grateful to her. At age 6, I began to train her for agility. A couple years later i finished her OA and OAJ titles. That was the end of our journey together and the beginning of my next with another Golden named Relay. Relay and I began showing when I turned 10 (waiting to be able to show as a “junior” because at that time handlers were only eligible to compete as juniors if they fell in between the ages 10 and 18). Our first endeavor together was tracking and she led to me be the first junior to put a tracking title on a dog. We then finished our MX and MXJ together before we took different paths. Relay went with my Mom who finished her MACh and I turned to the “dark side” as I was told. Gadget entered my life for my 13th birthday and I haven’t looked back. Gadget took me farther than I ever thought I was capable of. Gadget took me to finals in all 3 nationals we competed at and even gave me a 5th place at the 2008 nationals. This doesn’t even come close to describing what an incredible dog he is. He was patient and forgiving and i’m not quite sure how I deserved to have this incredible partner enter my life.
Currently, I have three Border Collies: Guppy, Epic, and Keebler. All three are so incredibly special to me. You an read more about them on their respective pages 🙂 Enjoy!

I’m going to enjoy this so much!
